That’s a bit more than you’ll probably pay for a 2018 model, but the new model comes with a number of high-tech upgrades, including standard Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring. You may find some of these features on used 2018 models that have certain packages. There is one feature you can find in the 2018 5 Series that you won’t find in the 2019: an available turbodiesel engine. Still, considering the price jump from used to new, we recommend first shopping for a used model to see if you can save some money.
